Welcome to the Imprinting Options Blog

I’m so excited about beginning to blog with everyone because I truly feel a personal connection to each and every one of you. I hope through blogging (about as personal as you can get these technical days) you will get to know a bit more about me as well. First thing you will learn is… I am not a writer! So read through the fragmented sentences, wrong use of grammar, misspelled words and flighty thoughts.

I hope to use this blog for several purposes. First and foremost it will be instructional and informational including keeping you up to date on the latest and greatest while we’re at trade shows. That’s always fun stuff. Plus I plan on using it for the small things that seem to come up on a daily basis that I some times take for granted that could be of valuable use for those who don’t know.

For Instance:  I was talking with a customer the other day on how to clamp a book that couldn’t be clamped due to it’s small size on a Model 55. The imprint was to be in the center of the book. This customer actually had two sets of right angle gauges so she made a jig for the book to fit nice and snug inside the jig. If you don’t have two sets of right angle gauges put them on your wish list, I use them all the time but for now you can use a couple of thick rulers. With the book in place, take two real thick super size rubber bands and strap them around the book and around the platform. That will help make the book a bit more stable for your imprint.

Let me be the first to response to your new blog. This is very exciting and a wonderful way to communicate to all of us at one time.
My first experince with blogging was a couple of months ago when my son was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He started a blog to kept all family and friends updated on his progress. Blogging is a wonderful wonderful tool in this day of techology.
